Amerie’s approach to her final digital photography project at SDSU was to capture the feelings of spirituality and transcendence in a world filled with darkness. She puts forth questions through religious motifs to ask what is after and why we feel alone at the end of everyday. Experiments with exposure, texture, and the juxtaposition of feminine purity and a melancholic environment.
